What is a Family Resource Coordinator?
Family Resource Coordinators Family Resource Coordinators (FRCs) collaborate with the Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program to assist children from birth to three years old who have developmental delays. Their responsibilities include serving as a single point of contact for families, coordinating evaluations and assessments, informing families about advocacy and peer support services, and working with medical and healthcare providers. FRC’s help families access funding resources, coordinate services across different agencies, and develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs). Additionally, they assist families with community resources, childcare, food, clothes, ect. In essence, FRCs are one-stop shops for families navigating the complexities of early intervention for their children.

What is a Developmental Therapist?
Early childhood education offers early intervention services aimed at helping young children become active and successful participants during their early years and beyond, whether at home, in child care, or within their communities.
Teacher services provide families with essential information and skills, supporting them as the primary influence on their child's early learning and development. This support includes, but is not limited to, parent education in areas such as parent-child interaction, understanding developmental milestones, and enhancing the child's skills across all developmental domains (cognitive, language, motor, social-emotional).
Teacher services are available for children from birth to three years old who qualify under the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) Part C.
