Speech, Language and Feeding Therapy
Youthful Horizons’ licensed Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists work with children to improve feeding, verbal communication, articulation, and other life skills needed for a child to engage in everyday activities. Our therapists are highly skilled at helping infants and children to improve their feeding skills. Feeding difficulties addressed include problems with sucking, swallowing, chewing, advancing textures and sensory issues related to feeding. Our specialists work collaboratively with the infant/child, family members, registered dietitians and pediatricians to promote the best outcome for each child. We specialize in assessing and treating the many reasons why infants and children struggle with eating. Our experienced clinicians provide early intervention services for children from birth to three in a variety of settings including the home, daycare, or on-site in our clinic.
