Pediatric Speech/Language Pathologists

 

Annie Graczyk, MA, CCC/SLP Annie Graczyk, MA, CCC-SLP

Annie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Whitworth University in 2005, and her Post baccalaureate and Masters of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Washington State University in 2006 and 2008. She has practical experience working in the following settings: birth-three facility, hearing-oral preschool program, school-district with children grades preschool through sixth, and inpatient and outpatient medical settings for both adults and children. Annie has been practicing at Youthful Horizon's Therapy since 2008, and she provides therapy for children experiencing difficulty with language, articulation, phonology, motor-speech difficulties, feeding and oral-motor development, literacy, and social communication. She enjoys creating individualized and fun therapy programs for children and their families using a team approach. Annie also targets language development through group gymnastics and yoga programs for children.

Dianna Fahland, MA, CCC-SLP Dianna Fahland, MA, CCC-SLP

Dianna received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Washington University and a Master of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Washington State University. She has experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings including public schools, outpatient clinics, preschool centers, and homes. She has worked at Youthful Horizons since April 2004. Her areas of interest and special training include working with articulation and language disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, phonological disorders, and hearing impairments, including those with cochlear implants. She is PROMPT trained and is a SKI-HI parent advisor, providing early intervention for children with hearing impairments. She has served on the board of directors for a Listening and Spoken Language preschool for children with hearing loss since 2004.

 

Julie Hannan, MA, CCC/SLP Julie Hannan, MA, CCC-SLP

Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Montana State University in 1987. She attended graduate school at the University of Colorado where she received a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders in 1990. She has treated children in a variety of settings including birth-3 centers, public schools, hospitals, and private clinics. Julie has pursued advanced training in the areas of autism and feeding. She enjoys working with children individually as well as in co-treatments with physical and occupational therapists. Julie has worked at Youthful Horizons since 2004.

 

Lisa Norfolk, MA, CCC/SLP Lisa Norfolk, MA, CCC-SLP

Lisa graduated from Montana State University in 1987 and then attended the University of Colorado, Boulder. She received a Masters degree in Communication Disorders in 1990. Lisa has worked in a variety of pediatric settings including hospitals, schools, and clinics. However, much of her experience has been with children at a birth through three center. Her special interest is in working with families who have children with feeding disorders.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the University of Washington in 2008, and her Masters of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences at Washington State University in 2010. She has practical experience working in the following settings: school districts with children grades preschool through fifth, hearing-oral preschool program, and pediatric inpatient and adult outpatient medical settings. Rachel has been practicing at Youthful Horizon's Therapy since 2010, and she provides therapy for children experiencing difficulties with articulation, phonology, language, literacy, motor-speech difficulties, feeding and oral-motor development, and social communication. She enjoys working alongside her fellow therapists to provide individualized and engaging therapy programs for children and their families.
